Religious studies is a degree that you pursue if you envision yourself becoming a professor. Other than that, the job market for this degree is tight, and there aren’t many jobs in this field as fewer and fewer millennials seem to believe in religion. This degree, like most of the others on this list, isn’t very applicable to the real world today and recent grads last year earned a measly median income of $30,000. Save yourself time and money and pursue a degree in something that will make you a better living in the future because you can always maintain your faith outside of work – it is quite tough to make it your occupation.
