One of the most important things for freshman to understand is that your major will likely change. In fact, most students make a major change at some point in their college career – it’s okay if this happens. As long as you knock out your generals your first few years of college, you should have your entire freshman year to learn more about the majors you are considering and decide what’s right for you. Choose your major wisely; find out which degree will be most valuable for you in the end. Obviously, some degrees are worth more than others in the long run, but you should certainly choose one you’ll enjoy the rest of your life.
