Management Information Systems, or MIS for short, is certainly a growing degree among graduates. Demand for MIS professionals is set to double in 2019, so graduates are highly sought after upon graduating. In fact, it’s difficult to find an entry-level MIS position paying less than $50,000 per year. Some graduates are even earning up to between $70,000 and $80,000 right out of college! Business today is centered around technology and finding more efficient ways to collect, store, and utilize data, and that’s exactly the role of someone in MIS (among other things).
